Life barrelled on. If Ginny could count on her life to do one thing, it was just that. Her heart and mind were too sore for goodbyes, but with her children growing so fast, it looked like she didn't have the luxury of burying her head in the sand.
Speaking of goodbyes, she hadn't been able to get in contact with Cuewen. Another absent father to add to the list...
Callisto was the first to age up. Like her other siblings, she showed aptitude for the arts, taking interest in guitar and canvas alike. But far outmatching these interests was her pure passion for the environment. She relished the outdoors, and it was not uncommon for all manners of insects and flowers to find themselves locked in her mason jars, which she kept in her room. Comet hated this.
When her jars got filled with just a little too many grasshoppers for Ginny to stomach, she could at least easily convince the child to play pretend inside for a little while, her imaginary edicts to her royal court focused more around compost than glitter and unicorns.
Cloud proved to be an odd little mixture of personality traits. Her screaming fits as a toddler, it turned out, were the result of Neuroticism. She felt compulsed to check sinks, stoves, beds, and everything in between until she was sure the household was safe, a habit Ginny and Fawn were trying to gently break. Oddly enough, Cloud had bit of a rebellious streak to her, and sometimes, Ginny could swear the child amplified her compulsion efforts simply to thwart any efforts to help. She was the only one of the three with any sort of vision issues, despite being appearing to be the closest to Cuewen genetically. Cloud had also inherited her father's penchant for long conversations, especially when her mother was involved. Science fascinated her, and tended to be her subject of choice. She'd often spend hours pouring over Callisto's backyard discoveries, not as keen to venture into the great outdoors as she.
Thistle was next. She loved the outdoors, and discovering potions. Her "instant focus" potion became something of an underground favorite among her peers. Very little had changed about her but for her height and maturity.
...well, when she wasn't egging on her sister, at least. In her heart, Thistle thought she was doing right by treating Allbright with the same amount of malice and vile her sister used for the surrounding world.
But sometimes, she was plain meaner with her words - and devious - than her own sister was, ever.
Ever removed from the antics of her sisters was Rein. Though a love for her rocking horse no longer fit her older age, she did have a love for the animal itself, and studied them feverishly. She entertained dreams of even owning a ranch one day. Alongside this new interest was a passion for the opposite sex - boys from all walks of life entertained her daydreams, often alongside her horses. Ginny thought that this was rather normal, but Joon reacted in his own manner, practically hissing at any unfamiliar boys who walked passed his doors. Ginny had to stop him from scaring the newspaper boy every morning. In the meantime, Rein poured herself into cheesy romance novels.
Yes, life was proceeding as normal in the Iterum household. Allbright confided the most devilish of her plots to best friend and fellow mastermind Luis, under the guise that she was doing a project - the only way her friend would be let into the home.
The young triplets threw themselves into their talents.
And Ginny tried to escape all negative feelings in her sleep and work. It wasn't healthy, ignoring her emotions, but she saw little other solution in the meantime.
She was barely functioning when the oldest twins aged into adulthood.
Osiris aged into adulthood beautifully, using his older age as leverage to do all of the things he wished his older siblings had done for him - mainly, sharing secrets and helping with really, really hard homework. When he eventually pulled himself away from his family, he went into the world with a wish to befriend as many Sims as he possibly could. Spreading good in whatever way he could was the only way Osiris could see himself spending life.
Warrick, too, carried a dream of warming Sims wherever he went - but in an entirely different sense. Armed with nothing more than determination and a sewing kit, he wanted to create sweaters of all styles and sizes to sell - and, well, give, if he was feeling in the right mood - to Sims. After they pried him off of his girlfriend (whose parents, surprisingly, did not want going outside the boundaries of Lunar Lakes), the Iterums said farewell to the young tailor. He trailed behind Osiris, not wanting to go alone.
It was shaping up to be a long month...

Probably the most worrisome of all, however, was Comet. He was a born artist, even outranking the talented Callisto in terms of musical ability, but had the charming personality of a rotten egg. Joon, as it turned out, was not too far off in coining his "artistic temperaments". He could often be seen strutting around the house freely complimenting himself, leaving his homework to collect dust. It took a lot of bribery and threat to get him to work on something other than his personal pursuits, and a whole lot more to explain why exactly his own interests weren't of sole importance.
And sometimes, Ginny swore the child was talking to himself...
Aging promptly moved on to the next set of triplets, starting with Allbright. She transitioned into teenagehood dazed and crosseyed, and decided to mark the occasion with a few piercings no legitimate parlor in their right mind would give to a girl of her age without parental permission. Needless to say, she was heavily grounded by Fawn and Ginny alike...which was fine by her, because plotting evil deeds was easier to do in solitude, anyway.
Thistle was next. She loved the outdoors, and discovering potions. Her "instant focus" potion became something of an underground favorite among her peers. Very little had changed about her but for her height and maturity.
